I was next to Soha removing the loose strands of hair which was covering her bare pretty face when i saw her rub her cheeks on my fingers and taking a deep breath she opened her eyes and the
Moment she saw me She screamed.
"WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK ARE YOU DOING IN MY ROOM AT THIS TIME .... AMIR YAHAN SE JAO AGAR ABBU NE DEKH LIYA TOH MUJHE AUR TUMHE DONO KHO MARDALENGE " she kept on yapping so i shut her mouth na na na naughty audience apne hath se band kiya hai usska mouh kho kiss shaadi ke baadh hi karunga don't worry am a good boy okay .

" She knows me better than anyone does and it makes me happy "i thought as she came back into my room .
" So Tumhe sachi kal raat ka kuch yaad nahi hai ?" I asked her genuinely she looked at my face and then nodded her head no making me abit disappointed but its fine nahi toh awkward hojata .
" Wese how did i end up here ?"
" actually you were drunk and Saif and mahnoor had gone out together so saif told me to drop you off but woh log pelhe nahi aaye so your backdoor was locked hence why i couldn't take your there toh ghar laliya .. but aarzoo aur maham ka room locked that and guest rooms are cold so i made you rest here fir when i went outside i met mumma and unhone tumhar kapad change kiye aur tumhe lemonade bhi diya aur fir tum sogi "i explained but didn't tell her about the part where she was trying to loots my izzat .
" Hmm Makes sense ... So Bye Then Im Going home then " She said and was walking out when i remembered what mumma told me this morning.
" Soha Ek second " and i ran towards her and stood infront of her .
" Uncle Aur Aunty Aaj Subah hi kahi relative ke ghar gaye hai aur ghar locked hai and saif bhi unke sath hai " I said with a small smile but she looked at me with wide eyes and said .
" What Saif bhai bhi unke sath hai then how tf will he stop the baat pakki " She asked me .

" Amir Hum yahan kya kar rahe hai ?" She asked when i opened the door for her .
" Tumhare liye Naya Dress Lene aaye hai obviously " I said opening the Boutique door for her but she pulled me out with the hem of my t shirt and pulled me down so i can be her level since she is 5'6( she's actually 5'0 but she thinks she is 5'6) and am 6ft so hehe .
" Amir Ghar Kardena hai toh hum kohi normal boutique mein jake lenge .... But this is over budget for me tumhe pata hai meri dance school se zayad paisa nahi aate hai " she said looking abit embarrassed saying that .
" Yeh isska Boutique hai ?" I asked
" Aarzoo Dhi ka "
" Aaj Kisske Engagement hai ?" I again asked and she sighed and said
" Mahnoor di aur hopefully saif bhai ka kyu puch rahe ho inthe sawal "
" Toh fir tum intne bakwas baate kyu karti ho mujhe wese bhi yahan aakar Mahnoor , aur mumma ka dress ka payment aur collection karna tha .... Ab unke liye liya hai toh how can i let you buy an dress for yourself....tum. " Bhai ? soha ? What a pleasant surprise " Aarzoo said coming towards her and she hugged me and soha Tightly she gave me a teasing smile but quickly covered it up .
" Soha Ke liye Dress lena tha so we thought of coming here aur haan jate waqt am taking you and maham & mumma's outfits okay " I firmly said and she nodded she then called her salesperson.
" Saloni , Mam kho humhare sab se best aur fresh stock baatana okay ....Soha Il leave you with her mujhe bhai ke sath kuch paper work hai once we complete that he is all yours okay " Aarzoo said with a hint of teasing at end as i watched soha go abit red on her cheeks and her ears .

" Wese Kuch nahi hai ... but subah se humari ladai nahi huwi hai we have just been Calm and actually spoke normally with each other .... Thats why am abit lost ki kahai even she has the same feelings for me ?" I opened my thoughts to aarzoo and she was listening to me carefully.

" Wtf is Soham and Saima "
" God these oldies Soham Means Soha Ka Soh Aur Amir ka Am And Saif ka Sai Aur mahnoor ka Ma Saima you really need a brain " Aarzoo said Making me Internally Blush but i hit her head .
"Intna Dimag Padhai par lagaya hota toh aaj doctor hoti tum " She grumpy rubbed her head pouting.
" Ab Muah mat sadao Go pack your stuff we are going " Saying this i got out of her cabin to was shocked .
Soha stood in front of the mirror, slipping into a black anarkali dress that seemed to have a magic of its own. The fabric hugged her frame just right, before cascading down in elegant pleats. Jaise hi usne ek halka sa spin liya, the dress flared out around her, creating this perfect swirl—almost like a scene from an old Bollywood classic. Uski muskaan, woh halki si sharmili si smile, bas ek pal ke liye sab kuch aur bhoolne pe majboor kar rahi thi.
Woh kapde sirf casually try kar rahi thi, but uska andaaz, woh effortless elegance, ek alag hi magic create kar raha tha. Her hair was loosely tied, kuch strands cheek pe gir rahe the, aur woh bina kisi tension ke apne moment mein lost thi. Uski simplicity mein ek aisi khoobsurti thi jo bas natural lagti thi—koi effort nahi, koi show nahi, just her being her.
Aur woh sab dekhte hue, main bas ek jagah khada usse admire kar raha tha. Jaise har chhoti baat mein uski khoobsurti aur bhi zyada obvious ho jaati thi. The way she moved, the sparkle in her eyes, and that smile—woh smile jo ekdum genuine thi, jo dikhati thi ki she was happy in her own little world.
Woh ek pal ke liye mujhe bhool bhi gayi thi shayad, but mujhe koi problem nahi thi, because main toh bas usse dekh raha tha. Har twirl ke saath uski dress kaise flare hoti thi, aur uske chehre ki natural glow, bas dil ko sukoon de raha tha. Mujhe nahi lagta maine usse kabhi is nazar se dekha hoga—so carefree, so unfiltered, aur itni khoobsurat ki bas uski ek smile se din ban jaye. Shayad yeh bhi ek reason hai why I love her so much—kyunki woh khud bhi apni khoobsurti ko casually aur effortlessly treat karti hai, jaise it's no big deal, but to me, it's everything.....
Soha was still lost in admiring her reflection in the mirror, the black anarkali flowing effortlessly with her every move. By now, Aarzoo had joined her, gushing about how perfect the dress looked. "Yaar, Soha, this is it! Tumhe yeh zarur lena chahiye!" Aarzoo exclaimed, holding the hem of the dress and fluffing it out dramatically. Soha laughed, shaking her head at arzoo's antics, still twirling a little, clearly loving the moment.
Meanwhile, he stood a little distance away, watching her silently. The way the dress framed her, the carefree joy on her face, and the effortless grace in her movements—it was like she didn't even realize how beautiful she looked. And in that moment, he couldn't stop himself. Pulling out his phone, he searched for the perfect ringtone, a little smirk tugging at his lips as the thought came to him. "Nazar Na Lag Jaye." It was subtle, meaningful, and exactly what he wanted to say without actually saying it.
Once the ringtone was set, he casually picked up another phone lying nearby and dialed his own number. The soft, melodious notes of "Nazar Na Lag Jaye" began to play, breaking through the chatter in the room.
Soha was showing Aarzoo the intricate details of the dress when the song started. She froze for a second, her eyes lifting towards him as he walked past them, the faintest hint of a smile on his lips.
Oo... Silki Kurtiye Hai , Jo To Pahan Ke O .....Jo Nikli hai O Goriye , Halki Si jo Mudti Hai.....
Gam Jaye Market Chhoriye .....Nazar Na Lag Jaye Jaanu .....Thought Ye Ghabraaye Saanu...
Nazar Na Lag Jaye Jaanu .....Thought Ye Ghabraaye Saanu...
His gaze lingered on her, deliberate but gentle, as if he was silently telling her something. She blinked, a little taken aback but unable to stop the warm flush creeping up her cheeks.
Aarzoo, of course, was the first to notice. Her sharp eyes darted between the two of them before she burst out laughing. "Oh ho, Soha! Ye song toh clearly tumhare liye play kiya gaya hai!" she teased, nudging Soha's arm with a knowing grin. "Woh dekho kaise chal rahe hain, jaise kuch kiya hi nahi."
Soha's cheeks turned an even deeper shade of pink as she fumbled to respond. "Kya? Nahi, woh... aisa kuch nahi hoga! Maybe coincidence..." she mumbled, trying to brush it off, but her eyes betrayed her as they flickered back towards him.
Hearing Aarzoo's teasing, he turned around briefly, his expression calm but with that same faint smirk still playing on his lips. "Kya? Call aaraha tha," he said nonchalantly, holding up his phone as if to prove his point. Then, without waiting for a reply, he walked out of the room, leaving both of them standing there.
Aarzoo shook her head, laughing again. "Haan, haan, call aaraha tha. Aur ringtone bhi soch-samajh ke set ki gayi thi, hai na?" She turned back to Soha, whose flustered smile was giving everything away.
Soha tried to play it cool, looking down at her dress as if adjusting it. "Bas karo na di ," she muttered, but her smile couldn't hide the way her heart was racing. The song still played faintly in her mind, its meaning lingering in the air long after he had left the room.
And somewhere, walking down the corridor, he smiled to himself, knowing the message had been received, even if he'd never say it aloud.
The car ride back was supposed to be a casual, uneventful journey, but it quickly turned into anything but that. Soha had insisted on sitting in the back seat, despite Aarzoo offering her the passenger seat multiple times. "Nahi, yaar, mujhe peeche hi comfortable lagta hai," she'd said, her voice light but betraying the faintest trace of
nervousness.
Amir was driving, his hands steady on the wheel, while Aarzoo sat in the passenger seat, already scrolling through her phone and chattering about some Trends And etc with soha but she too soon Got quiet . Soha then sat quietly in the back, looking out of the window, pretending to be absorbed in the passing scenery, but her thoughts were elsewhere. " Why am i feeling like this why am i blushing sooo muchh god whats wrong with me ?" She Thought.
As the car started, Amir casually tapped on his Spotify and, starting his playlist. The first song to play was "Isha Wala Love."
The car ride had barely begun when the first soft notes of "Ishq Wala Love" filled the air. Soha, sitting quietly in the back seat, felt her chest tighten at the familiar melody.
"Ishq wala love ....Hua joh dard bhi toh Humko aaj kuch zyada hua....
Ishq wala love .... Yeh kya hua hai kya khabar Yehi pata hai zyada hua .....Ishq wala love ....Agar yeh usko bhi hua hai Phir bhi mujhko zyada hua ...Ishq wala love"
Her thoughts drifted, unbidden, back to all the moments she'd shared with Amir. She could still feel the faint warmth of his hand brushing hers during their first encounter even if she tried to forget whatever happened 3 years ago she can't , the way he'd looked at her like she was the only one in the room. Then there was the kiss—soft, unexpected, and yet, undeniably real. Her fingers unconsciously touched her lips, the memory making her heart race all over again How she was so confident and pulling him to kiss her .... Ofc she remembered what she did last night thats why she was more embarrassed and Blushing today .
She shook her head slightly, trying to snap herself out of it, but the song didn't make it any easier. The lyrics seemed to tease her, as if pulling her deeper into those feelings she was trying so hard to contain.
Up front, Aarzoo was unusually quiet as well, her gaze fixed on the road but her mind elsewhere. The song had stirred a memory she couldn't ignore—a memory of her own. She thought about Abeer, his hand on hers during their romantic dance. The way he'd pulled her close, their movements perfectly in sync, his gaze never leaving hers. It had been intimate in a way she hadn't expected, a moment that lingered long after it had ended.
Both women sat in their own little worlds, their thoughts tangling with the song's lyrics.
" Jhaakein baadlon ki jaali ke peeche se ...Karein chandini yeh mujhko ittelah.....Leke noor sara chand mera yahin pe......Hai chupa chupa hua
Ishq wala love"
Amir, on the other hand, seemed calm and collected as he drove, though his hands tightened slightly on the steering wheel. He glanced at the rearview mirror, his eyes catching Soha's expression—soft, distant, lost in thought. He couldn't help but wonder what was on her mind, though he had a feeling it might be something he'd said or done.
Aarzoo finally broke the silence, her voice teasing as always. "Wah, kya gaana hai. Soha, aap toh peeche kuch zyada hi quiet hai. Kya soch rahi ho ?"
Soha blinked, startled out of her thoughts. "Kuch nahi," she said quickly, but the blush creeping up her cheeks said otherwise.
Aarzoo smirked, catching on immediately. "Oh, toh yeh song ka magic kaam kar raha hai, hmm?" she teased. "Lagta hai, tum dono ke liye hi perfect hai."
Amir chuckled softly, but he didn't say anything. Instead, he let the playlist roll into the next song, the transition seamless.
And then it began—the unmistakable melody of "Nazar Na Lag Jaye."
"Nazar Na LagJaye Jaanu......Thought Ye Ghabraaye Saanu.....Nazar NaLag Jaye Jaanu
Thought Ye Ghabraaye Saanu..."
Soha froze in her seat. If "Ishq Wala Love" had teased her heart, this song completely shattered her defenses. Each lyric felt like it was written for her, for them, and the way Amir's eyes flicked to the rearview mirror every now and then only made it worse.
Amir's gaze lingered on her reflection for a moment, his expression unreadable but intent. It wasn't the first time she'd caught him looking at her like that—like she was the only one in the world who mattered. Her cheeks burned, and she quickly looked away, staring out of the window as if the scenery would somehow calm her racing heart.
"Maathe Pe Gore....Kaala Teeka Bana Le Mujhko....Tujhko Balaaon Se Bacha Loon
Hai Dhoop Yeh Zamaana....Oas Ki Boond Hai Tu ....Palkon Ki Chaaon Mein Chupa Loon..."
Up front, Aarzoo couldn't hold back her laughter. "Oh my god, bhai, aapki playlist! Yeh toh seedha Soha ke liye dedicate kiya gaya hai. Hai na, Soha?"
Soha stammered, "Kuch nahi... bas aise hi song play ho raha hoga." But even she didn't believe her own words.
Aarzoo leaned back in her seat, turning to face her fully. "Oh please, Soha! Tumhari expressions sab bata rahe hain. Aur bhai ke woh rearview mirror se glances? Woh toh 100% planned hai!"
Amir finally spoke, his tone casual. "Main toh bas playlist shuffle pe daal raha tha," he said, though the slight curve of his lips betrayed his amusement.
"Nazar Na Lag Jaye Jaanu......Thought Ye Tedpaaye Saanu......Nazar Na Lag Jaye Jaanu
Thought Ye Tedpaaye Saanu..."
Soha tried to focus on anything but the lyrics, but they seemed to weave themselves into the air, impossible to escape. Her mind flashed back to Amir's subtle gestures, the quiet ways he made her feel special—like today, with this song.
Aarzoo, meanwhile, wasn't done. "Soha, sach bolo—heart race kar raha hai na? And bhaiya, aap toh ekdum pro ho, indirectly apni feelings dikhane mein."
Amir smirked, his eyes meeting Soha's in the mirror for just a second. "Mujhe kya pata? Main toh bas gaane play kar raha hoon," he said smoothly, before focusing back on the road.
Soha buried her face in her hands, unable to stop the blush that had completely taken over. Aarzoo's laughter rang out, filling the car, but all Soha could hear was the song—and the way Amir's gaze had lingered just long enough to say what words never could.
After a while The car ride had grown quieter after the teasing. Soha was still blushing, avoiding everyone's gaze, while Aarzoo had gone silent, her thoughts drifting away. She took out her phone and absentmindedly started scrolling through her messages.
A new notification from Abeer caught her attention, and she opened it with a soft sigh.
"Hi Aarzoo, Amir isn't replying but saari arrangements hogayi hain engagement ki."
The message was simple and to the point, but hearing about Mahnoor and Saif's engagement from Abeer himself hit her differently. She felt a sudden weight in her chest, realizing how much everything was changing. The moment had arrived, and yet, she wasn't sure she was ready to face it her sister is gonna get engaged today it was big moment and also an emotional one
With a sigh, she locked her phone, staring out of the window, trying to push away the wave of emotions flooding her mind. She needed something to distract her. But just as she was lost in her thoughts, the next song on the playlist began—"Kya Baat Ay" by Harry Sandhu.
"Tera mukhda chaand da tukda
Ni teri ainak, tere shoe
Kya baat ay, kya baat ay..."
The familiar tune filled the car, but Aarzoo didn't notice the beat. Her mind immediately went back to that night—the night at the club.
It had started out like any other night, just a fun hangout with friends. But then, as the Truth or Dare game took an unexpected turn, the atmosphere shifted. A dare came from Vedika, and before Aarzoo knew it, she was sitting across from Abeer in the middle of a crowded circle .
"Aarzoo, dance with Abeer!" Vedika had challenged, grinning mischievously.
Aarzoo had been taken aback at first, but Abeer had just smiled that familiar, charming smile of his and held out his hand. It wasn't supposed to be anything serious. Just a playful moment in the midst of all the fun. But as their hands met and they stepped onto the dance floor, something changed.
The music pulsed through the club, and Abeer led her into the rhythm. The energy of the crowd surrounded them, but it was as if the world had slowed down just for the two of them. There was no hesitation in the way he moved, no awkwardness in the way they connected. Their bodies naturally fell into sync, gliding through the steps as if they'd danced together for years.
"Ni tera kajal karda ae pagal
Hypnotize kare jatt nu
Kya baat ay, kya baat ay..."
The song played, and Aarzoo couldn't help but feel the connection between them. Every time Abeer guided her with a gentle touch on her back, it sent a shiver down her spine. The way their eyes met, the way he smiled at her as they spun, it felt as if they were the only two people in the room.
She was lost in the dance, in the chemistry that flowed so naturally between them. It wasn't just about the music—it was about the way Abeer's presence seemed to make everything around them disappear. The way his hand rested on her waist, the way they moved together, it felt intimate. She could feel the heat between them, the pull that neither of them had expected.
"Tere lakk ton tu lagda Karachi di
Fan marjaniye Bugatti di
Dil kare tere naal banneya ravaan
Tere jism ch khushbu ilachi di..."
Aarzoo's heart raced as they twirled, moving with perfect harmony. It wasn't just the fun of the dare anymore. It was something deeper, something that made her pulse quicken with every step, every glance. She had never danced like this before, never felt this kind of connection with anyone, not even in the most intimate moments. And yet, with Abeer, it felt so natural.
They were so close, their bodies pressed together as they moved in time with the beat. His hand was on the small of her back, pulling her closer with every step. She could feel his warmth, his breath, and for that moment, it was impossible to deny the chemistry between them.
"Teri ankh te tikka nakk
Te utton masha allah munh
Kya baat ay, kya baat ay..."
Her breath caught in her throat, and she closed her eyes for a brief moment, lost in the sensation. The music swirled around them, but it was only Abeer that she could focus on. Every time they locked eyes, it was like the world fell away. It wasn't just a dance—it was a conversation without words, a connection without explanation.
But just as quickly as it had started, the song ended, and Abeer gently let her go, stepping back with a small smile. The club was loud again, the chatter of friends, the laughter, the clinking of glasses, but Aarzoo was still reeling from the moment. The heat from his touch lingered on her skin, and she could still feel the energy between them.
Now, sitting in the car, hearing that same song play again, Aarzoo couldn't escape the memory of that night. The way Abeer had moved with her, the way their bodies had aligned so naturally. It was supposed to be a simple dare, just a bit of fun. But something had shifted between them in those few minutes. Something that neither of them had addressed, but both of them had felt.
As the song continued, the lyrics hit harder now, as if the universe was reminding her of what had been, and perhaps what could never be.
"Kya baat ay, kya baat ay..."
Aarzoo sighed, lost in the thought of the dance, of the connection that had sparked between her and Abeer. He was moving forward, focused on everything else " im pretty sure he must have forgotten about the dance and the chemistry aswell its just me who is stuck there" she thought wondering if that night had meant something more than just a playful moment—or if she was reading too much into it.
The song continued, but now, it felt like a reminder of what she'd felt that night, of the unspoken chemistry that still lingered. She wasn't sure where things stood with Abeer, but the dance had been enough to leave her questioning everything. Would they ever talk about it? Or would it remain just a fleeting memory?
As the car sped along, Aarzoo's mind was full of unanswered questions, her heart still caught in the rhythm of that night, the dance, and the pull that was hard to ignore.
Scene: Engagement Party
The soft hum of laughter and the clinking of glasses filled the air as the guests mingled in the grand hall. It was Mahnoor and Zayn's engagement party, and the evening was nothing short of magical. Soft golden lights draped the room, casting a warm glow over everything. The grand chandelier above sparkled like a constellation of stars. Music played lightly in the background, while the aroma of delicious food wafted through the air, making everyone feel at home.
Upstairs, in a room filled with the delicate scent of jasmine and roses, Mahnoor stood in front of a full-length mirror. She was dressed in an opulent golden saree with intricate embroidery, the fabric shimmering with every move she made. She applied the finishing touches of her makeup and touched up her hair, making sure everything was perfect for the evening ahead.
Her phone buzzed on the dressing table. It was a call from Saif.
"Where are you? We're waiting for you downstairs, saif agar aaj tum late aaye na then i will seriously get Married to that zayn " she said , her voice a mix of excitement and mild impatience. She was eager for the night to begin, but she was also looking forward to being surrounded by the people she loved the most, especially Saif.
" Don't Worry am On the way bas Change karne ke liye we stopped for abit but i will be there in 30 minutes i promise "he said smiling at her through the phone .
On the other side of the house, Aarzoo stood in her room, slipping into her stunning white Anarkali. The long gown cascaded down her frame like a flowing waterfall of fabric, the delicate embroidery sparkling with every move. Her long, Golden hair, which was usually tied up or neatly styled, was left flowing freely today. It was soft and voluminous, tumbling over her shoulders and down her back, catching the light as it swayed. She applied just a hint of makeup, enough to enhance her natural beauty without taking away from her effortless elegance.
When Aarzoo descended the staircase, the world seemed to pause. Her presence filled the room with an ethereal light.
Abeer stood by the drinks table, half-listening to a conversation but mostly distracted. His gaze kept drifting towards the staircase, where Aarzoo was walking down.
Then, as if the universe conspired to freeze time, she stepped into his line of sight.
He blinked, suddenly breathless, as if the air had been sucked out of the room. Every other person around him blurred into the background, and it was just her, the angel that had captured his attention.
Aarzoo's beauty wasn't the kind that struck you immediately—it was the kind that grew on you, the kind that became more stunning with every second you looked at her. The way her white Anarkali clung to her delicate figure, the intricate silver and gold embroidery glimmering as she moved, made her appear like she had stepped straight out of a fairytale. The gown's long sleeves and sweeping hemline gave her an air of grace and refinement, making her look like an embodiment of purity. But it was her face—her face that stopped him in his tracks—that held him captive.
Her flawless skin was kissed by the soft glow of the lights, her cheeks flushed with the lightest touch of rouge, but her eyes—those deep, green eyes—held something else entirely. A mystery. A kind of quiet power.
Her hair, tumbling down her back in waves so soft it seemed like silk, framed her face in the most perfect way. The subtle movement of her hair, as it swished with her steps, only added to the effect, making her seem almost untouchable, like a goddess in human form.
Her lips, just a hint of pink, curved slightly upwards as she made her way down, and for a split second, she glanced up at him. That fleeting moment, that soft gaze she gave him, sent his heart racing as if he were seeing her for the first time.
Abeer swallowed hard. The world around him didn't matter anymore. In that moment, all he could see, all he could feel, was Aarzoo.
She was perfection in motion. Every part of her, from the delicate arch of her brow to the graceful sway of her gown, seemed to speak to him in a language he couldn't understand but couldn't ignore.
He wasn't sure how long he stood there, staring, frozen in time. But when she reached the bottom of the stairs and walked past him, her scent lingering in the air, he blinked, his body finally moving again.
He cleared his throat, his heart still pounding in his chest. He shook his head, trying to focus. But deep down, he knew this: he had just seen the most beautiful woman in the world. And she was right here, within arm's reach.
" Abeer ke Bache Tu bhi suru hogya Meri behan kho dekhan ... pelhe saif ab tu Kya dost hai mere che yaar " Amir said hitting my head and making me come back from Aarzoo's Fairy World to Reality.
" Esa Kuch nahi hai ... she just looks very pretty thats it " i said Still Looking her way as she was Looking annoyed talking to Tamana ( her best friend)
" Abeer ke bache Kamine tu abhi bhi usse hi dekh raha hai look at me " Amir said again hitting my head and then Holding my face in his palms and making me look at him as if he's gonna fucking kiss me or anything.
" Ab kiss karega kya " " haan karunga yeh le "
" Che chee yaar bhabhi kya sochegi " I said teasing him only for him to step back .
" Waha Bhabhi ka ek naam par intna Straight wahh kya bhabhi hai meri " I said drinking my left over coke .
" Haan haan theek hai theek hai " He said rolling his eyes .
" acha chal i need to go somewhere i will see you soon but lastly.... Abeer ke bachon kho hone mein thoda time hai pelhe Ussko shaadi ke liye raazi karo fir Obviously tu mama banega right " i said amir was in shock he was trying to process what i was saying so i took my chance and ran away before he can get it and beat the shit out of me i left .
The grand hall was filled with glittering lights, cheerful chatter, and the soft hum of a romantic melody playing in the background. Abeer had finally succeeded in giving Amir the slip. "Phew, bach gaya," he muttered to himself, adjusting his sherwani and brushing a hand through his perfectly styled hair. " beta tu aaj mout kho chu ke wapas aaya hai " he was obviously joking with amir but he could have killed him
but in his haste to escape, he wasn't paying attention to where he was going.
Suddenly, bam! He collided with someone, hard enough to make them stumble backward. Instinctively, Abeer's arms shot out, catching the person before they could fall. When he looked down to see who it was, his breath hitched.
It was Aarzoo.
Her wide green eyes stared up at him in shock. Those eyes—deep, captivating, and endless—had haunted him ever since their dance at The club . They weren't just green; they were the kind of green that reminded him of the forest just before sunset, full of mystery and warmth. Kaise aankhein hain yaar... bas dekhte hi jaane ka mann kare.
Aarzoo, on the other hand, was equally stunned. She found herself caught in the strong grip of Abeer's arms, her balance completely dependent on him. Her gaze locked with his, and she couldn't look away. His grey eyes—intense, stormy, and magnetic—seemed to pull her into their depth. It was like staring into the heart of a thunderstorm, dangerous yet irresistible. In aankhon mein toh pura ek kahaani chhupi hai... kaise kisi ki aankhon mein itna emotion ho sakta hai?
Neither of them moved. Neither of them spoke. The world around them faded as they stood there, lost in each other. The golden fairy lights above reflected in their eyes, making the moment feel almost magical. Aarzoo's hand instinctively rested on Abeer's shoulder for balance, while his hand lingered a little too long on her waist, steadying her.
Just then, a loud laugh broke the spell.
"Aarzoo! Where are you?" called Soha from across the room. Behind her were Zainab, Adiya, and Tamanna, all searching for their friend.
Abeer and Aarzoo snapped out of their trance, realizing how close they were. Aarzoo quickly pulled back, her cheeks flushing red. But before she could fully step away, Abeer, in his nervousness, let go of her waist a little too abruptly.
Thud!
Aarzoo landed ungracefully on the floor, a sharp hiss of pain escaping her lips.
"Oh crap!" Abeer blurted out, smacking his forehead. "Kya kar diya, yaar?" He crouched down to help her, but Aarzoo was already fuming.
"You idiot!" she snapped, clutching her ankle as she glared up at him. "First, you bump into me. Then you drop me! Tumhe lagta hai tum hero ho, kya?"
"I didn't mean to—tumhara balance chhod diya galti se!" Abeer stammered, looking genuinely guilty but also trying to suppress a grin. He couldn't help but notice how even in anger, she looked beautiful, her eyes blazing with fire and her cheeks flushed.
"Chhod diya? Main tumhe girane doongi toh pata chalega!" she retorted, trying to get up, wincing slightly as she put pressure on her foot.
Abeer instinctively reached out to help her again, but she batted his hand away. "Mujhe mat chhoona!"
"Okay, okay, chill. I'm sorry, yaar! It was an accident," he said, raising his hands in surrender. But the teasing lilt in his voice didn't go unnoticed. "Waise, tum itni gusse mein toh aur bhi zyada... uh, passionate lagti ho," he added with a sheepish grin.
Aarzoo narrowed her eyes at him, her hands on her hips. "Aur tum mujhe tease karne se baaz nahi aaoge, na?"
"Tease? Nahin, yeh toh bas ek observation thi," Abeer replied, unable to stop himself from smirking. But inside, his heart was pounding. He couldn't believe he'd let her fall—and worse, that he couldn't stop staring at her even now.
As their bickering continued, Soha and the others finally caught up to them. They took one look at Aarzoo, now standing toe-to-toe with Abeer, arguing like there was no one else in the room, and burst into laughter.
"Ahem!" Tamanna cleared her throat dramatically. "Should we come back later? Clearly, you two are busy."
Aarzoo turned redder than ever, glaring at her friends. "Shut up, Tamanna!"
Abeer, meanwhile, just grinned, scratching the back of his neck. "Uh, I think I'll... um... go get some water or something."
As he walked away, he glanced back at Aarzoo. She was still rubbing her ankle and muttering something under her breath, but he couldn't help smiling. Yeh ladki toh ekdum alag hai... bas... perfect.
And Aarzoo? She watched him leave, shaking her head. But deep down, her heart still raced from the way his grey eyes had looked at her, like she was the only person in the room.
The Engagement:-
The garden was beautifully decorated, with fairy lights wrapped around the trees, flowers adorning every corner, and a soft glow of lanterns casting an ethereal ambiance. Laughter and music filled the air, but Mahnoor's heart felt heavy, trapped in a whirlwind of emotions. She paced back and forth in her room, her fingers clenching her phone tightly. Her eyes darted toward the door every few seconds, hoping Aarzoo would burst in with news.
But no one came.
Saif wasn't answering his calls. Each unanswered ring chipped away at the hope she was desperately holding onto. Her chest felt tight, her breath uneven. Why isn't he here yet? she thought, her mind replaying the countless moments they'd shared—the laughter, the stolen glances, and the promises. Promises she feared were now broken.
"Mahnoor?" Her mother, Arushi, gently called out from the doorway. Mahnoor turned, startled out of her thoughts.
"Come with me, beta," Arushi said softly, her expression unreadable.
With trembling steps, Mahnoor followed her mother down to the garden. The guests had gathered, their laughter and chatter blending into a symphony that felt deafening to her ears. She glanced toward Soha, her closest confidant, and immediately noticed her worried expression. Soha's eyes darted around, scanning the crowd, as if she, too, was waiting for someone.
Mahnoor's chest tightened further. Does she know something I don't?
Suddenly, amidst the crowd, Mahnoor saw a familiar figure walking toward her. Her breath caught in her throat. It was Saif.
He moved with purpose, his gaze locked on hers. Her heart leaped with hope as he came closer, his lips curling into a soft smile.
"Aaj humhari engagement hai, Mahnoor," he said, his voice warm and filled with love.
Tears welled up in her eyes as she reached out, her fingers trembling as they neared his face. But just as her fingertips were about to touch him, he disappeared.
She froze, realization hitting her like a thunderclap. She wasn't seeing Saif—she was dreaming about him.
The dream shattered her remaining composure. Her feet felt like lead as she walked toward Zayn, who stood waiting for her by the engagement stage. The crowd parted, all eyes on her. She felt like a puppet, her strings being pulled by expectations and duty.
She stood next to Zayn, her body rigid, her face pale. Silent tears rolled down her cheeks, but she quickly wiped them away, not wanting anyone to see her pain. The golden engagement ring gleamed in Zayn's hand as he reached out toward her.
But before he could slip it onto her finger, Mahnoor stepped back.
"I can't do this," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
The guests gasped, the murmurs spreading like wildfire.
Zayn looked at her, confused. "What are you saying, Mahnoor?"
She straightened her shoulders, drawing in a deep breath. "I'm saying that I can't marry you, Zayn. I don't love you. I... I love Saif."
Her words hung in the air, silencing the entire crowd. For a moment, all anyone could hear was the sound of the wind rustling through the trees.
"I'm sorry," she added, her voice breaking, before turning and walking away. She didn't wait to see the reactions. Her feet carried her out of the garden, away from the stifling whispers and judgmental stares.
Back at the engagement, chaos erupted.
Zayn's mother, fuming with anger, turned towards Arushi and Mezaan. "This is the kind of upbringing you've given your daughter?" she spat. "No respect for traditions, no sense of responsibility! She has humiliated us in front of everyone!"
The guests began whispering amongst themselves, their judgmental eyes fixed on Mahnoor's parents. Arushi's face burned with shame, while Mezaan stood frozen, his fists clenched.
Finally, Mezaan stepped forward, raising his hands to address the crowd. "Please," he said, his voice heavy with emotion. "I'm deeply sorry for what has happened today. Bohat sharminda hoon. But I respect my daughter's decisions. If she loves someone else, she has every right to choose her happiness. And I will stand by her."
His words silenced some of the murmurs, but Zayn's mother was far from appeased.
"Respect her decisions?" she scoffed. "If you're so apologetic, then fine. If your daughter can't be our daughter-in-law, then marry your son to my daughter. Let Amir be our damad instead."
The crowd fell silent, stunned by her audacious demand.
Before Arushi or Mezaan could respond, Amir stepped forward, his eyes red with suppressed emotions. He stood next to Alina, Zayn's younger sister, his expression unreadable.
"I'm ready to get engaged to your daughter," Amir said firmly, his voice steady but filled with pain.
The declaration shocked everyone, but none more than Soha. Her heart shattered at his words. Silent tears spilled down her cheeks as she turned and walked away, unable to bear hearing anything else.
Amir watched her leave, his jaw tightening. But he didn't stop her. His eyes returned to Alina, who looked so happy .
And so, amidst the chaos of broken alliances and shattered hearts, the engagement party became a battlefield of emotions, leaving everyone to wonder: Who would pick up the pieces?
The car sped down the empty road, the hum of the engine barely audible over the sound of Mahnoor's ragged breathing. Her hands gripped the steering wheel tightly, her knuckles white with tension. She had been calling Saif incessantly, her phone screen glowing with the same name for the 102nd time. Tears blurred her vision, but she didn't care.
"Saif, pick up the phone," she whispered frantically, her voice cracking. "Please... just pick up."
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the call connected. Relief surged through her as she screamed into the phone, "Saif! What the hell! KITNE DER SE CALL—"
Her words were cut off by a voice that wasn't his. A deep, unfamiliar male voice spoke on the other end.
"Madam, I'm sorry... I don't know who you are, but the person you're trying to reach is in the ICU. Not just him, but two elderly people who were with him in the car. They're all in critical condition and currently undergoing surgery."
The words hit her like a sledgehammer. Her foot slammed on the brakes, bringing the car to a screeching halt in the middle of the deserted road.
Her heart pounded so loudly that it drowned out everything else. The phone slipped from her hand as the man on the other end disconnected the call.
"No... no... no..." she whispered, her voice breaking as the full weight of what she'd just heard sank in. Her chest heaved as sobs wracked her body. Tears streamed down her cheeks uncontrollably, blurring her vision further.
Her mind spun. Saif... accident... ICU... coma? Each word felt like a dagger to her heart. Her entire body began trembling violently, and for a moment, she thought she might faint. Her love—her Saif—was fighting for his life, and she wasn't there.
Mahnoor slammed her fists against the steering wheel, crying out in anguish. "No! This can't be happening!" she screamed, her voice echoing in the confined space of the car.
She wiped her tears hastily, her hands shaking so badly that she could barely grip the wheel. With sheer determination, she started the car again, forcing herself to focus. Her destination was clear: Central City Hospital.
When she reached the hospital, she didn't even bother parking properly. She stopped the car haphazardly in the middle of the parking lot and tossed the keys to a bewildered security guard. "Keep it. Do whatever you want. I don't care," she said breathlessly, her voice barely coherent.
She ran inside, the cold night air forgotten as desperation propelled her forward. In her rush, her veil slipped off her head, falling to the ground, but she didn't stop to pick it up. Her only focus was the ICU.
As she reached the floor, she saw a disheveled woman walking out of the ICU, her face pale and tear-streaked. The sight of the woman's messy hair and miserable state mirrored what Mahnoor felt inside. Her knees nearly buckled beneath her as she approached the doctor standing outside the ICU.
Her voice trembled as she asked, "Doctor... is he okay? Saif... is he okay?" Her words were broken by her sobs, and she clutched her hands together as if in prayer.
The doctor's expression was grave, her voice low and measured. "I'm sorry to say, miss, but Mr. and Mrs. Ahmed are in critical condition. Their injuries are severe, and they might not make it through the night. As for Mr. Saif..."
Mahnoor held her breath, her entire body shaking uncontrollably.
"...he isn't responding. We believe he's gone into a coma."
The words struck her like a physical blow. The world beneath her feet crumbled, and her vision darkened. Her lips parted, but no sound came out. Her knees gave way, and she collapsed to the floor in a heap, unconscious.
On the other side of the call...
When Mahnoor's trembling fingers accidentally accepted Soha's call, Soha heard everything.
"...Mr. Saif... gone into a coma."
Soha froze, her blood running cold. Her phone nearly slipped from her hand as the doctor's words echoed in her mind. "Gone into a coma... critical condition... might not make it."
Her body felt like it had turned to ice, and her knees buckled as she sank onto the floor. Tears poured down her cheeks, but she was too stunned to wipe them away.
"No... no... this can't be true," she whispered, her voice quivering. Her heart raced as panic set in, her mind consumed by fear.
Soha's world tilted on its axis, and in that moment, she felt utterly powerless. The one thing she had feared most had come to pass, and she had no idea how to make it right.
